As seen in Woman’s World magazine! Holidays and special occasions are often kicked off with a toast to your health. Throughout history, champagne has been regarded as a form of medicine. French physicians in the 17th century, for example, sometimes prescribed a glass of champagne to females suffering from anemia. Even more famously, it is said that a pint of champagne was prescribed to the mistress of Louise IV during childbirth in an effort to produce a male heir.
Modern studies show that consuming champagne (and red wine in particular) can be good for your health – in moderation, of course. True or false? I’ll be covering the subject of wine in my new book, Radical Longevity.
